Obsequio Group has strengthened its fire safety offering with the acquisition this week of Hampshire-based Premier Fire Security Limited. The purchase also enables the Group to extend its presence to the South coast.

In addition to adding to Obsequio’s impressive canon of education, local government and public sector clients, the purchase means the Group can offer its one-stop-shop portfolio of related compliance services to Premier’s customer base.

As well as its strong focus on the education and public service industries, Premier has also worked for the last decade and a half with organisations from the museums and heritage, motor, care and hospitality sectors, with Skoda and the HMS Victory on its client list.

The Romsey-based BAFE registered company, which specialises in fire and intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control and fire extinguishers, holds NSI Gold, UKAS Product Certification and Management Systems accreditations, is an FIA and ECA member and a CHAS accredited contractor.

Premier’s excellent customerservice reputation fits with the wider group ethos of developing long lastingclient relationships.

The acquisition follows the purchase last month of UKAS-accredited Environtec Ltd, which enabled Obsequio to add asbestos compliance to its portfolio.

The strategic expansion means Obsequio Group is steadily becoming the company of choice for many of the UK’s largest public sector bodies, NHS trusts, universities, housing associations, blue chip companies, facilities management specialists and industrial organisations.
