Beech Tree Private Equity(“Beech Tree”) is pleased to announce the promotion of Luke Burns to the role of Investment Director.
Luke joined Beech Tree’s Manchester office in 2019 and is part of our Technology and Tech-Enabled Services investment teams. Since joining Beech Tree he’s worked on numerous transactions including Beech Tree’s investments in Avid, Transparity, Performanta and Ancoris as well as various bolt-on acquisitions across the Beech Tree portfolio. In addition Luke, as part of his position on the board of Wavenet, assisted on its successful exit to Macquarie Capital in May 2021.

Luke is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of M&A experience. Prior to joining Beech Tree he spent three years in Corporate Finance in Australia, three years at GP Bullhound – a technology focused Investment Bank, and six years at PwC across the Transaction Services and Audit teams.
