Providing data, voice, contact centre, IT and technology services to over 8,000 SME and enterprise customers, Wavenet has offices in Solihull, Chester, Norwich, Cardiff and Nottingham and employs over 200 people, including over 100 trained support staff and engineers.
The Market for unified communications across the SME market is growing rapidly as requirements for data capacity and hosted voice solutions continues to increase. This coupled with the highly fragmented nature of the UC market is helping to drive both organic growth and Wavenet’s acquisition strategy. Since our investment in August 2016, the business made 8 acquisitions and created a strong infrastructure to undertake further buy and build activity. The EBITDA of the business increased five-fold from the point of our initial investment in 2016 through to our exit in 2021.
